You can remove the splintered pieces but you can't break off any of the stable wood. Unfortunately, the guy seems kinda large. Doesn't seem like the 'slipping' type.

I look around a perimeter for anything useful (maybe 4 meters), when I realized that it was useless to try to pry it open with bare hands.

You see a broken crutch near the guy that saved you. He doesn't seem to be using it. Aside from that you see the guy that saved you. It's not likely you could effectively wield him.

I go over to the broken crutch, picking it up, I notice where it was bent. I decide to go over to the coffin and try to pop it open.

You attempt to leverage the crutch to open the coffin. Not only does it fail to open due to the lock, it cracks in half due to the bend. You fall and hit your jaw on the coffin.

I speak up afte inhaling the fresh air. "I'm alright! Try pulling my feet out some so I can lift the coffin up and slide out!" My feet dangle out, ready to catch the ground should they pull me out too far.

Beginning to panic, he looks around to see if there is any light coming into the box in an attempt to discover if it is airtight, while continuing to press on the lid in a disorientated attempt to open it, even if it does seem to be in vain.

He sighs as he observes the man he saved try to save, "Stand back I'll handle this.."

I take the biggest knife of the swiss army knife and attempt to widen the hole in the coffin to let the man pass, "It's too small! You won't be able to slip out yet, I'll try making the hole bigger!"

You're making noise now. Of course you can never quite be sure how much and if there's anybody around to hear it. Your desperation has begun to tax your oxygen levels and you'll probably run out in about 4 more actions. Also- there is not one inch of light and the walls are holding tight.

I say my thanks as the person on the other side complies and begins pulling my feet as I had asked. I use my hands and arms to try and inch my way out of the box by pressing them against the sides of the coffin and shimmying my way down.

Using the pinnacle of your coffin-shifting strength you tug on these mystery feet to the best of your ability. He doesn't budge, but the coffin seems to. Seems like friction is on your side. Or not. Are you sure you want to follow through with this? Also the guy inside the coffin apparently said something, but it was pretty muffled by... you know... the coffin. He seems to be squirming and has scooted out a minor amount.

You feel a pair of hands latch on to your feet and tug. The felt of the box seems to be anchoring you, but your shimmying has moved you out slightly. Unfortunately your build will likely prevent you from scooting out from the current opening. The box seems to become narrower as it runs down to your feet. Your torso will definitely disagree.

Oh, and you feel the box shift as the other guy tugs on your feet. Do you happen to have an affection for gravity by chance?

Feeling the pain resonate from my body, I fall back and thus causing more pain. I fall into a state of shock and cannot possess the movement in order to help my savior, due to my coincidental phobia.

I attempt to retract my feet from the person who has a grip on them, due to the feeling of my box prison shifting on whatever surface it is resting on, and by guessing, I could say it's not sitting safely on the ground. I shout out for the person to stop, and voice my worry. "I think the coffin will fall if you keep pulling! My body would get stuck trying to get out this way anyways!" My fingers again feel over the surface of the felt interior. Maybe I can find a loose piece and tear some of it out to make a little bit more room... I think to myself.

As I turn around I see the man in shock, on the ground, "Are you alright? Go help the other guy in the coffin! Damnit, what the hell is this?!"

The pressure on your feet from the hands are relinquished as you slide back into the box. While searching you find a couple of splinters, but nothing of considerable or convenient size. Unless you can put your box-smashing limbs to use, it seems you're at the mercy of the box-moving limbs of the person outside for now.

As you let go, the feet slip back into the coffin. It is partially off of the table, but it isn't at risk of toppling over as of now.

The fellow on the floor seems... scared of something. You hear a single mechanical bleep from somewhere in the room.

I try to investigate upon the bleep.
