Boarglenn Clan

The Boarglenn Clan is a great extended family, and united Clan of all Dwarves of the lands, however all men and women of this race prefer the term Boarglenn instead, and are quite proud of their success since being united under one banner. They have accomplished much more since their darker days, fueding with each other, when there were greater dangers and enemies outside their mountain strongholds.

The great economic trade city of Abdgor used to be under the banner of the Goldbeard Clan, lead by one of the richest Dwarven Lords, Lord Gami Goldbeard. However, this once wealthy Dwarf is no longer living, due to old age.

The vibrant and industerious city of Cyrogu used to be under the banner of the Rockvein Clan, lead by one of the most strategic and innovative Dwarven leaders ever, Lord Logrii Rockvein. He is now the Chief of Defence for the Boarglenn Clan, ensuring all tunnel routes leading into the cities, or around the cities, are monitored carefully, and can be blown at any time needed, to keep armies coming through underground.

The feared city of Daigrul, home of the most blood thirsty of all the Dwarves used to be under the banner of the Bronzebreaker Clan, though since the dethroning and imprisonment of their deranged leader, Nalfer Bronzebreaker, the wisdomatic and revered General, Rorig Boarglenn has stepped up and united the three Clans under one banner, the Boarglenn Clan. The banner is dark green, with ivory colored tusks on either side of the cloth, reaching down to the bottom, while a massive Boar is presented in mid stride in a deep brown color directly in the center.

The Boarglenn Clan is a nation built upon innovation, perserverance, and strength. These three ideals are constantly upheld by Dwarven traditions of building new and creative weapons, armor, and contraptions that help propel their race into a age of technology; traditions of withstanding all that is put in their path, be it the extreme weathers they endure and their constant pressure from the other races who dislike these short and stout warriors of the mountains; and the tradition of strenghtening one's own self in both knowledge and physical toughness, and also by strenghtening the nation as a whole by always contributing to the greater good of the Boarglenn Clan. With these ideals, the Boarglenn Clan has had the fewest traitors, deserters, and the least amount of murders among their own kind.

Nexin

The Nexin race is an ancient and mysterious race, not of the world of Sylvira. They fled from their homeworld, Naexithos. Naexithos is a dark and brooding world, full of dangers, most more menacing then the dreaded Nexin themselves. The skies were of a crimson hue, almost blood stained they seemed. It rained once a year, and the rain brought devastating floods to the deep and canyon littered wasteland that was Naexithos. There were no major bodies of water, not even a lake, spring, or pond. The floods would quickly be evaporated by the intense heat emitted by the sun. There was little natural vegetation, mostly lichens, and other plants that could survive with little to no water.

Grand cities dotted the high and low points of the barren planet. The Nexin people seemed to somewhat divided on Naexithos. The Summoners, Witches, Necromancers, and both the Dawnblades and Duskblades all kept to the highest city in Naexithos. The city was named Nynatos. It was a great fortress, littered with many tall spires that were controlled by great spellcasters, who kept the city cool from their harsh sun. There, these Nexin flourished, discovering many new technologies and ways of enlightening and furthering the Nexin race as a whole. At the base of the largest tower in Nynatos, the Summoners, with the help of the Duskblades, created a single portal in which they were able to send their entire race through to another world when they knew that Naexithos was to fail. None truly know what befell Naexithos after the Nexin's escape from the doomed world save the eldest of the Nexin, but the secretive nature of its destruction could lead one to believe that the Nexin themselves might be to blame.

The other most prominent city was Narux, which spread all through out an area in the deep pitted canyons known as the Sundered Grounds. Narux is home to all of the other classes. The masters of Narux are the Overlords. These great warriors make up the protectors of these dangerous caverns, thus putting them in charge.

Such beasts that are commonly summoned from the 'old world' as many Nexin call it, are creatures like:

The Nyarthak, a four legged creature that has two muscled arms, two more appendages that have spikes instead of hands, and it also has one ferocious looking mouth as well. This is one of the more rare creatures summoned.
The Nurlog,a massive slime covered worm that feeds off of the dead, using its great sense of smell. They also have a spiked tail, enabling them to pierce into their prey and latch on. It is one of the more commom creatures to summon.
The Naborshu is a hulking eight foot creature, though quit dumb when it comes to common sense things, when commanded correctly, this great creature has been known to follow orders to the death.
The Kranosak is an eight-legged menace, towering at ten feet tall, with a powerful tail whose tip is filled with sharp wire-like hair that is used primarily for lashing at its prey to tear flesh away. It also uses its great clawed hands to grab and rip apart its enemies. However this quick moving creature has very weak skin, and frail bones.
The Nelzik is one of the most common of the creatures summoned. It resembles a Human, though it has no skin, and even a visible skull. It also has glowing white eyes and a massive bite on it as well. This creature is about as strong as a Ra'gada, but has no knowledge of weapon use, while also wearing little to no armor. Often it only wears a chainmail loin cloth as it blindly rushes into battle for its master.

Recently, the Ra'gada Clan and the menacing Nexin race have come to a means of neutrality, through the old saying of, the enemy of my enemy, is my ally.

The Order of the Dusk

The Order of the Dusk is one half of the Naexithos Duality, the half that live to bring more chaos in the world of Sylvira. They are the highly respected Summoners and Duskblades who slave over crystal powered gateways that lead to their crumbling homeworld. Their principles are simple; Devotion and Wisdom. Devotion is the principle of dedicating one's life to the continuation of the upkeep and protecting the portals and their existence. Wisdom is the principle of gaining all knowledge that is needed to know about the portals, their potential, their weaknesses, their capabilities, and more.

The Order of Dawn

The Order of Dawn is one half of the Naexithos Duality, the half that brings the most fear in the hearts and eyes of their enemies through the use of necromancy and grotesque abominations brought to life to serve the Dawnblades and Necromancers that dwell within the inner temple corridors. Their principles are simple; Science and Secretcy. Science is the principle of gaining knowledge through necromancy and the applied force of medicine to create living terrors, grotesque abominations of the world. Secretcy is the principle of hiding the knowledge gained until their creatons are already wreaking havoc on all who oppose their creators.

Ra'gada Clan

The Ra'gada Clan is the united result of all of the smaller clans. They are loosely bound as of now, though their ties grow stronger, as the number of threats grow more numerous. They are currently against every other race, and see this as a way to band together as a whole, being ran by a counsel of all of their former chieftans. Each chieftan acts as a general and ruling lord of their people still, though no clan shall act on a decision unless the majority of the clans decide on it. (For fear of acting alone, and having no other clan or clans to back them up on it.)

The Ra'gada people are a very proud cultural based race, they are typically frowned upon though by the other races due to their brute and savage ways. However, where most races do not like the Ra'gada, not one on its own can exterminate them, for they have the greatest population, and are the fastest reproducing race on the Silvenar Island. Making them quite the foe for other races. However, not all Ra'gada folk are as hostile and made out to be the enemy all the time. Most often the Ra'gada people keep to themselves, trying to develop a better civilization to keep up with the other races surrounding them.

Most recently Ormang has planted several hundred acres worth of crops, and they are in the process of devolpeding a more modernized irrigation system to fuel these crops. Thus creating more diverse food for these primarily carnivorous race. They are also in the process of rebuilding several old and crumbling walls. Ormang is serving as a model city to the other two Ra'gada cities, and the counsel of Chieftans are hoping to create ideal cities that surpass all other nation's standards of wealth and beauty... but war is always on the mind of the Ra'gada. However, war against the menacing Nexin race has come to a means of neutrality. The two recognize each other's greatness, and have come to a means of agreement, the enemy of my enemy, is my ally.

Rynguard

The Rynguard civilization itself is quite diverse amongst its different cities, yet through diversity, the expanded kingdom of the Rynguard people still manage to strive without culturual differences upset their common goals in Sylvira. They are for the most part peaceful people, though as the ages pass, the Rynguard Elders have noticed their young slowly being corrupted by the influences of other race's.

The structure of lifestyle and culture has diversified over the vast distances of the three cities. Men in Ragotaur are abusive to women, and rule over them with an iron fist almost. Women in Syndale typically have higher paying civilian jobs, and are often looked up upon for guidance, hence their leader, Lady Lithos. Yet in the capitol city, there has been a long lasting mutual bond between man and women, with the basis of being created as equals in the eyes of their maker.

As these three cities are quite diverse, their blood unites them, causing a strong force to be reckoned with when viewed in the eyes of their enemies. In the midst of war, the differences might if not will be set aside, and these three cities will stand together holding each other up till it meant the end for them all. With this idea implemented among the Rynguard folk, respect and loyalty are two very prized attributes that are typically common among the people. Without loyalty, you have no Nation, and without a nation, there is no Rynguard race. Without respect, how would a Nation be able to lead without respect for one's leader? How would one Nation even be called such, without the respect and admiration that is earned though nobility, loyalty, and hard work? These are some of the founding ideas that has kept the Rynguard people alive and thriving for all of these years.

Silverset Legion

The Silverset Legion has been one of the most dominant civilized nations on the entire island if Silvenar. They have come a long way, and just recently, in 2,449, have suffered a great loss. Many of their people rioted, and uprooted their familes and friends towards the great West, towards an unconquered and uninhabited area in The Marshes; thus creating their growing rival, the Visigoth.

Before then, the Silverset Legion was a very wildly corrupt nation in the city of Whitecrest, and portions of Epios as well. The Temples controlled much of what happened in the world and lives of its citizens. Leaders of the Temples were the judge, jury, and executioners of anyone ever accused of treason, crimes against the Temple and Legion, or persons of the Temple. Much of the corruption from leaders of the Silverset Legion much ignored the cruelty and tyranny, either because it kept public interest off their own private affairs, they benifitted from bribes and gifts, or they were directly related to it all. Much of all the corruption within the Silverset Legion has died down since the masses of civilians moving to make their own nation. Much of which is considered treason, and those who left are sentanced to a death by hanging, yet much of this is turned a blind eye to, because new leaders have taken over, and rid most of the corrupt ones out of the Legion.

With new order restored, a more pure Silverset Legion emerges, and their citizens have become more free, less scrutinized by the vengeful corrupt Temple leaders and politicians of the old days. Now, new principals are in stated; Integreity, Honor, Loyalty. These were once words unheard of in the old times of the Silverset Legion, and hopefully these principals will last.

Dragoth

The Dragoth nation's heartbeat began when the riots in the Silverset cities of Epios and Whitecrest. The eventual masses of Silverset civilians who were fed up of the tyranny and corruption of the leaders of the Silverset Legion, especially those in the Temples, left and headed towards the West, eventually settling in various locations among the more tropical areas of The Marshes. Fifty one years past and the eventual combined effort of those who still believed in a better nation founded by honor, hard work, and the common man, the cities of Coral's Cove and Cloud's Rest were built. Cloud's Rest was to be the capitol of a new nation, and Coral's Cove was to be an excellent military outpost for both naval and land operations. Once these two cities were built, progress boomed for this newly born nation. However, not all of it's civilians believed in honor and hard work. There were various groups of pirates housed in both cities, who went to the high seas, getting a stake at their revenge for their families by raiding Silverset cities. These pirate groups didn't last long, because soon those who believed in honor and hard work cracked down on those who believed in pillaging for a living. By either killing the pirate captains or recruiting them into their navy, these attacks stopped, and soon after Shipmaster's Watch was built, thus forming the Dragoth nation.

Soon their strength would be tested, for they wanted to make a point to the Silverset, whom have never dared challenge the Nexin fleets who hovered around the Gulf of Epios, the Whitecrest Seas, and dominating the Shores of Ufols. The Dragoth headed two fronts, one through the Emerald Seas, which the Rynguard allowed so long as they didn't go within thirty miles of their city of Arphain, or twenty miles near their city Syndale on the other front. This attack caught the Nexin by surprise, and the Dragoth's quick ships sailed circles around the giant Nexin ships, sinking over half of the ships there, by only taking minimal losses. The other front, in the Whitecrest Seas happened only days later, when the Dragoth's quick ships ripped right through the Nexin fleet, sending many to the depths, and those who remained, retreating in full sail, if they still had one. The Rynguard recognized their new neighbors as a worthy ally, and quickly allied the common folk nation of the Dragoth. A feat which the Silverset Legion had been trying to accomplish with the Rynguard for years, but the corruption within their own people was so evident, the Rynguard wanted nothing to do with them.
