In Felix's starting days of his career he was a Holy Paladin for the Holy Council, one of the "Elite Red" he went around slaying anything the council felt unholy or heretical; Witches, Demons, Dark Angels, and other Hellish beings witnessed their demise at his feet. Upon aging to a variable time, Felix came in contact with a man by the name "Vetraeus", though Vetraeus was not found to be guilty of any crimes at this time, Felix did think that Vetraeus was practicing something awkward. Upon further inspection, Felix revealed Vetraeus to be the source of the madness wrough on the world; In an attempt to slay Vetraeus before he could do no more wrong, Felix was banished to "Realm of Shadow" by Vetraeus in defense, though Vetraeus suffered severe injuries, the Paladin Felix was sent away and now resides somewhere in the portal that is split between the two paths of Narvthi and Naxxus, The two lands of discourse.
The Holy Council plans to retrieve Felix, retrain him, and fight off Vetraeus. If anyone is to kill Vetraeus, It'd be him.
